Throughout American history, the LGBTQ community has served
their country with distinction and honor while experiencing discrimination
within their ranks.
Members of the LGBTQ community have faced the challenges of
service under discriminatory military policies such as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell
(DADT)”, and made valuable contributions to the preservation of freedom and
democracy without receiving praise and commendations for their extraordinary
struggles and sacrifices.
It is our intention to share the military history and
personal stories of LGBTQ Veterans who have changed the world through their
commitment and dedication to military service.
This film is a documentary featuring interviews with LGBTQ
veterans from each branch of service. Serve with PRIDE, LLC is honoring the
achievements of the LGBTQ community in the military for the purpose of
preserving the valuable contributions they have made in preserving freedom and
democracy in this country and the world.
